The BCDC Book Club’s spring season is in full gear! Next up is the late Madeline Albright’s impassioned 2018 bestseller Fascism: A Warning (May 15), followed by Paul Yoon’s acclaimed novel Run Me to the Earth (June 12).
For over 20 years this vibrant group has met monthly for intimate, free-flowing conversations about an eclectic roster of books. Historically meetings took place over a meal in members’ homes, pivoted to Zoom during the pandemic, and a hybrid model is in place for now. There are limited spots for each session, since there is no such thing as a shortage of things to say when Brunonians gather!
What kind of bookworms show up? Expect a wide range of backgrounds, from recent grads to retirees, and alums from all conceivable fields (medicine, law, psychology, academia, creative arts, and more).
