The Brown Club of DC is excited to once again welcome the Watson Institute for International & Public Affairs to Washington, DC! We are partnering to host an evening reception on Thursday, February 15th with a keynote address by Professor Margaret Weir followed by an opportunity to network with students and alumni from across the region.

All DC-area Brown alumni – especially those with an MPA and public policy focus – are invited to attend, as well as our employer partners. Please RSVP here.

Margaret Weir will kick off the evening with a discussion: Poor in Metro America: Are Institutional Infrastructures providing Help or Harm? moderated by MPA alumnus Stephen Harrington.

Following the talk, alumni and employers will be dispersed around the room into industry groups for a round robin-style information and networking option.  We will offer 3 structured 10 minute conversations followed by time to simply mix and mingle.
